JASON HAUGEN

Software Engineer

Jason graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in computer science and a minor in psychology. He returned home to Austin, TX to begin his career with Amazon; first working on the mobile homepage before transferring to AWS to work on EC2 integrations and open-source projects. In 2022 he left AWS to work as a travel coach for a professional tennis player in the WTA. Jason is passionate about finding simple solutions for complex problems by addressing issues at their root. His goal is to create software products that are reliable, scalable, and pleasant to use. Jason likes to spend his free time staying active and outdoors. He still gives the occasional tennis lesson when time allows it.
